Everything you need in one digital chart.
Our electronic eye chart was developed in a multispecialty ophthalmology and optometry setting — letting you assess visual acuity precisely and refract patients efficiently. Far more than Snellen alone.
Units of measure
Display visual acuity in every popular notation. Switch between US (20/20), Metric (6/6), LogMAR, and Decimal at a keystroke — no setup, no mode-switching.
- US — 20/200, 20/20, etc.
- Metric — 6/60, 6/6
- LogMAR — 1.0 through 0.0
- Decimal — 0.1 through 1.0
Calibration
Set the system once for your room. Calibration accounts for the distance between the AcuityMaster display and the patient, your unit of measure, and which video clip plays for pediatric fixation.
Chart types
In addition to Snellen, AcuityMaster includes the color-correct Worth-Dot-Four, Astigmatic dial, ETDRS, and fixation-disparity charts — every test you reach for, in one application.
- Snellen
- ETDRS
- Worth-Dot-Four (color-correct)
- Astigmatic dial
- Fixation disparity
- Contrast sensitivity
Optotypes
Pick the right optotype for the patient in front of you. Standard Snellen letters, Tumbling E, Landolt C, numbers, and updated recognizable pictures — including a cell phone, because today's kids no longer recognize the rotary telephone.
Display modes
Switch instantly between single-letter, single-line, and full multi-line display. Toggle the 20/XX label on or off, run in mirror mode, add crowding bars, reduce contrast, or apply a red/green overlay — without leaving the chart.
Pediatric-friendly
Updated optotype pictures kids actually recognize. Hands-free fixation video controlled by USB foot pedal — perfect for pediatric patients who need to fixate at the end of the room while you finish refraction.
Dual-monitor support
Running a dual-monitor setup? Undock the AcuityMaster control bar and drag it to the monitor closest to you. Full menu access without squinting at a 20-foot wall display.
Add a USB-controlled foot pedal for hands-free video fixation — a favorite of pediatric practices.
